Payment Plans

Payment plans allow guardians to pay fees in instalments rather than a lump sum, with defined payment milestones and due dates.

Creating a Payment Plan

  1. Go to Finance → Payment Plans.
  2. Click New Payment Plan.
  3. Select the student and the invoice the plan applies to.
  4. Define the instalments:

AmountAmount due for this instalment
Due DateWhen this instalment is due
  1. Add as many instalments as needed. The total must equal the invoice amount.
  2. Click Save.

Monitoring Payment Plans

The payment plans list shows:

  • Which students have active plans
  • Which instalments are upcoming or overdue
  • Payment progress per plan

Recording Payments Against a Plan

Payments are still recorded through the standard Payments screen. EMS automatically allocates payments to the current instalment of the plan.
