Staff Management
The Staff module manages all staff user accounts — creating accounts, assigning roles, and managing teacher profiles used in timetabling.
Viewing Staff
Go to Administration → Staff to see all staff accounts.
Adding a Staff Member
- Click Add Staff Member.
- Fill in:

| Role | School Admin / Bursar / Teacher |

| Staff ID | Internal staff number (optional) |
| Subject Specialisation | Subjects this teacher is qualified to teach |
- Click Save — the staff member receives a welcome email with a temporary password.
Editing a Staff Member
Click a staff member's name to open their profile, then click Edit.
Deactivating an Account
To remove access without deleting the record:
- Open the staff profile.
- Click Deactivate.
Deactivated users cannot log in but their historical records (attendance marked, assessments entered) are preserved.
Teacher Profiles
Teacher profiles extend staff accounts with timetabling information:
- Maximum periods per day/week — used by the timetable builder to prevent overloading
- Available days — for part-time teachers
- Subjects taught
Manage teacher profiles from Academic → Timetables → Teacher Profiles or from the staff member's profile page.
